Turn left onto the unpaved road that leads up into the mountains. The drive takes approximately 2 hours. Be prepared for narrow and winding roads. There is no entry fee for the area, but ensure your vehicle is suitable for mountain roads.

Take a train from Bucharest to Bușteni. Trains run frequently from Gara de Nord station. Once you arrive at Bușteni station, you can either take a taxi or hike towards Poiana Izvoarelor. The hike is approximately 6 kilometers and can take about 1.5 to 2 hours. Ensure to wear appropriate hiking shoes and carry sufficient water. Taxis are available at the station and should cost around 20-30 RON to take you to the trailhead.
