Getting There

Walking
Begin your journey from Cismigiu Park. Exit the park towards Bdul. Regina Elisabeta and turn right. Continue walking straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Bdul. I.C. Brătianu. Here, you will see the impressive view of the National Theatre on your left. Cross the road and continue straight on Bdul. I.C. Brătianu for another 300 meters. You will see a sign for The Citadel on your right. Follow the signs until you reach the entrance.

Public Transport (Bus)
From Cismigiu, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on Bdul. Regina Elisabeta. Take bus number 136 towards 'Păcii' and get off at the 'Calea Victoriei' stop after 3 stops. From there, walk back towards the intersection with Bdul. I.C. Brătianu, and follow the same directions as mentioned in the walking option. Note that a single bus ticket costs 3.5 RON and can be purchased from nearby kiosks or through the STB app.

Head to the nearest tram stop located on Bdul. Regina Elisabeta. Board tram number 41 towards 'Gara de Nord'. After about 5 stops, get off at 'Piata Presei Libere'. From here, you will need to walk approximately 15 minutes. Head down towards Bdul. I.C. Brătianu, and follow the same directions as previously mentioned. A tram ticket also costs 3.5 RON.
