    Getting There

    Walking

    If you are already in the Herăstrău neighborhood, simply head towards the Herăstrău Park. Look for the main entrance of the park near the intersection of Șoseaua Nordului and Bdul. Aviatorilor. Once inside the park, follow the paths leading toward the lake. Signs throughout the park will guide you towards Herăstrău Lake, which is located centrally within the park.

    Public Transport - Bus

    If you are further away in Herăstrău, you can take bus line 205 or 300 to get closer to Herăstrău Lake. Board the bus at any nearby bus stop (check local signs for the nearest stop). The closest stop is 'Parcul Herăstrău', which is just a short walk from the lake. The fare is approximately 2.5 RON, which you can pay by purchasing a ticket from a kiosk or using the contactless card payment on the bus.

    Public Transport - Tram

    Alternatively, you can take tram line 5 if you're coming from the southern parts of Herăstrău. Board the tram at any tram stop along the route and disembark at 'Piața Charles de Gaulle'. From there, walk north through the park’s entrance, and follow the signs to Herăstrău Lake, which should take about 15 minutes on foot. The tram fare is also around 2.5 RON.
