From the nearest major town, Râmnicu Vâlcea, drive towards Buila-Vânturarița National Park. Follow the road signs towards Călimănești and then take DN7 towards Horezu. After passing Horezu, turn onto DJ664 towards Băile Olănești, then follow the signs to the park entrance. Once inside the park, keep on the main road until you reach the trailhead for Drumul Cheii. Park your car in the designated area and start your hike towards Cheile Cheii.
