Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the nearest town to Buila-Vanturarita National Park, which is Horezu. From Horezu, take DJ 664 towards the park entrance. After about 12 km, you will reach the entrance of Buila-Vanturarita National Park. Once inside the park, follow signs to the Drumul Cheii area. Continue along the park road until you reach a parking area near the trailhead for Claia Stramba. Parking may incur a small fee, typically around 5 RON.

Public Transportation + Hiking
If you are using public transportation, take a bus from Râmnicu Vâlcea to Horezu. Buses run regularly and the fare is usually around 10 RON. Once in Horezu, you can either take a taxi or look for local shuttle services that go to the park entrance. From the park entrance, you will need to hike to Claia Stramba. Follow the marked trails leading to Drumul Cheii, which is approximately a 3-hour hike from the entrance. Make sure to wear appropriate hiking shoes and carry enough water and snacks for the journey.
