If you are traveling by car, start your journey from the nearest major town, Râmnicu Vâlcea. Head east on DN7 towards Horezu. After approximately 30 km, turn left onto DJ664 towards Malaia. Continue on this road for about 20 km until you reach Malaia. Once in Malaia, follow the signs towards Păstrăvărie, which is located at coordinates 45.3481816, 24.0437149. There is parking available near the location.

For those using public transportation, take a train from Bucharest to Râmnicu Vâlcea, which takes about 2.5 to 3 hours. From Râmnicu Vâlcea, take a local bus to Horezu. Buses to Horezu run regularly, and the journey takes about 1 hour. From Horezu, you will need to catch a taxi to Malaia, as there are no direct buses. The taxi ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Be prepared to negotiate the fare, which should be around 50-70 RON depending on the driver.
