If you're driving from the center of Caransebeș, head southeast on Strada 1 Decembrie 1918 towards DN6. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto DN6 and follow it for about 12 kilometers. After passing through the village of Băile Herculane, take the exit onto DC49. Follow DC49 for around 5 kilometers until you see signs for Cascada Buraul Mare. There is a parking area near the waterfall's trailhead.
