Getting There

• Bus

  From the center of Deva, head to the Deva Bus Station (Autogara Deva) located on Strada 1 Decembrie 1918. You can take bus number 10 towards Muncel. Ensure to check the bus schedule as it may vary. After approximately 30 minutes, disembark at the Grădiștea Muncelului stop. From there, follow the signs leading into Grădiștea Muncelului-Cioclovina Natural Park.

• Walking

  If you prefer to walk, start from the Deva Fortress (Cetatea Deva), which is a well-known landmark. Head south on Strada Cetății, then turn left onto Strada Horia, Cloșca și Crișan. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Strada 1 Decembrie 1918. Turn right and follow the road as it leads out of the city. It will take you about 1.5 to 2 hours to walk to the park entrance, so wear comfortable shoes and bring water.

• Bicycle

  For a more adventurous option, consider renting a bicycle from one of the local shops in Deva. Start at Deva Fortress, cycling down towards Strada 1 Decembrie 1918. Follow this road out of the city; it turns into a scenic route leading to the park. The ride is approximately 8 kilometers and typically takes around 30-40 minutes, depending on your pace. Be mindful of traffic and enjoy the beautiful landscape along the way.

• Taxi or Ride-sharing

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can order a taxi or use a ride-sharing app available in Deva.
