If you're traveling by car, start your journey from the center of Gorj. Head southeast on DN67 towards Târgu Jiu. After about 10 km, take the exit onto DN66 towards Bumbești-Jiu. Continue on DN66 for approximately 30 km. You will see signs for Cascada Murga as you approach Bumbești-Jiu. Look for parking areas along the roadside. The waterfall is a short hike from the parking area.
