Walking
If you are starting from the central area of Târgu Jiu, head towards the main pedestrian street, Strada 14 Octombrie. Walk towards the direction of the Târgu Jiu City Hall (Primăria Târgu Jiu). From there, turn right onto Strada Unirii. Continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer. You will see Fântână Arteziană on your left side, near the intersection with Strada 1 Decembrie 1918. The fountain is a notable landmark, so it should be easy to spot.

You can also take a local bus from the central bus station (Autogara Târgu Jiu). Look for a bus heading towards the center, and ask the driver to let you know when you reach the stop closest to Strada Unirii. Once you get off, walk straight down Strada Unirii for about 500 meters, and you will find Fântână Arteziană on your right.
