If you are traveling by car, start from the city of Brașov. Head east on DN1 towards the town of Zărnești. Continue on DN1 until you reach the intersection with DN73. Turn left onto DN73 and follow the signs towards Râșnov. After Râșnov, continue straight on DN73 until you reach the village of Racoș. Once in Racoș, follow local road signs directing you to Racoșul de Jos Geological Complex. There is usually free parking available near the entrance.

To reach Racoșul de Jos Geological Complex using public transportation, start in Brașov. Take a train from Brașov to Râșnov (trains run frequently, approximately every 30 minutes). Once you arrive at Râșnov, look for a local bus or taxi to take you to Racoș, which is about 10 km away. Buses may not run frequently, so be prepared for a wait. Alternatively, you can hire a taxi directly from Râșnov train station to Racoș. Ensure you confirm the fare with the taxi driver before the trip.

If you enjoy hiking and are already in the area, you can walk from the village of Racoș to the Geological Complex. The walk is approximately 3 km and takes about 45 minutes. From the center of Racoș, follow the signs towards the geological complex, which is well-marked. The path is scenic, passing through beautiful natural landscapes.
