Start at the Butare City Center (Place de la Paix). Head south on Avenue du Général de Gaulle towards Avenue de l’Indépendance. After about 500 meters, turn left onto Avenue de l’Indépendance. Continue walking for another 300 meters until you reach the intersection with Avenue de la Révolution. Turn right onto Avenue de la Révolution and walk for approximately 1 kilometer until you see signs for Rugalika. At this point, take a left onto the road heading towards Rugalika. Continue straight for about 2 kilometers until you reach WXXM+P5R, where the Crocodile Zone is located. The area is known for its wildlife and natural beauty.
