If you are starting from the center of Butare, head south on Avenue de l'Indépendance towards the main roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Avenue de la Réunification. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Nyanza. Turn left onto the road towards Nyanza and follow it for approximately 8 kilometers. As you approach Nyanza, look for signage indicating 'Kwigira Museum'. The museum will be on your right side, just past the intersection with JPJR+679.
