Walking
Start from the Butare town center at the main market (Marché de Butare). Head north on Avenue de la Révolution until you reach the intersection with Avenue du 1er Novembre. Turn left onto Avenue du 1er Novembre and continue straight for about 1 km. You will pass several shops and local eateries along the way. Continue until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Avenue de l’Indépendance. Walk along this road for another 500 meters until you see the sign for the Rebero area on your right. Follow the signs towards Rebero and walk uphill for approximately 1.5 km. The Open Palm Anti-Corruption Sculpture will be located in a public space. Look for the distinctive palm sculpture on your left as you approach the top of the hill.

From Butare, head to the nearest bus station (Gare de Butare). Take a local bus heading towards Kigali. Inform the driver that you want to get off near the Rebero area. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Once you reach the Rebero area, ask the locals for directions to the Open Palm Anti-Corruption Sculpture. It's a well-known landmark, and they will guide you to it. It should be a short walk from where you disembark from the bus.
