    Getting There

    Car

    From the center of Cyangugu, head southeast on Avenue de la Paix towards Avenue de l’Indépendance. Continue straight for approximately 3 km until you reach the main intersection with the signs for Nyamagabe. Turn right onto the road that leads to Nyamagabe. Follow this road for about 18 km. You will see signs for Kitabi Eco-Center on your left. Turn left at the sign and continue up the access road until you reach the Eco-Center.

    Public Transportation (Moto Taxi)

    In Cyangugu, locate a moto taxi stand, which are commonly found around the main market area. Inform the driver that you want to go to Kitabi Eco-Center. The ride should take around 30-40 minutes and cost approximately 2000-3000 Rwandan Francs. The driver will take you directly to the entrance of the Eco-Center.

    Public Transportation (Bus)

    From Cyangugu, take a bus heading towards Nyamagabe. Buses depart regularly from the main bus station. Once you arrive in Nyamagabe, you can take a moto taxi for about 1500 Rwandan Francs to Kitabi Eco-Center, which is approximately 10 km away from the bus stop. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they know the location of Kitabi Eco-Center.
