From Cyangugu, head east on the main road towards Nyungwe National Park. Follow the signs for Nyungwe, and continue driving until you reach the entrance to the park. After entering the park, take the road that leads to Uwinka Visitor Center. It is approximately a 30-minute drive from Cyangugu to the visitor center. Be aware of the park entrance fee, which is typically around $10 for foreign visitors.
Public Transportation
Take a moto-taxi or a bus from Cyangugu to the nearest bus stop that services routes to Nyungwe National Park. Ask the driver to drop you off at the entrance of the park.
