If you're driving from Cyangugu, head north on the main road (RN1) towards Butare. After about 30 km, take the exit towards Gikongoro. Continue straight until you reach Murambi. The memorial center's entrance is located on the Unnamed Road in Gikongoro. There is no entrance fee, but donations are appreciated.

Public Transportation
To reach Murambi Genocide Memorial Centre using public transport, start at the main bus station in Cyangugu. Board a bus heading to Gikongoro. The journey takes about 45 minutes to an hour. Once you arrive in Gikongoro, you can take a moto-taxi (motorcycle taxi) to the Memorial Centre, which is approximately 10 minutes away. Expect to pay around 1,000 RWF for the moto-taxi ride. The memorial does not charge an entrance fee, but donations are encouraged.
