From Gitarama, head southwest on Avenue de la Révolution toward Avenue du 1er Novembre. Continue for about 1.5 kilometers and then take the right turn onto RN1. Follow RN1 for approximately 10 kilometers until you see signs for Kamiranzovu Swamp. Turn left onto the road leading to Colline Ibanda. Continue straight for another 3 kilometers until you reach the entrance to Kamiranzovu Swamp, located at coordinates -2.4860457, 29.1482091.

From Gitarama, head to the main bus station, known as 'Gare de Gitarama'. Look for a minibus heading to 'Colline Ibanda' or 'Kamiranzovu'. The fare is approximately 500 RWF. The journey takes around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Colline Ibanda, ask the driver or locals for directions to Kamiranzovu Swamp, which is about a 15-minute walk from the drop-off point. Follow the path towards the coordinates -2.4860457, 29.1482091.
