    If you are driving from Gitarama to Rwanda Gorilla Safari in Ruhengeri, start by heading north on the RN1 road. Continue on RN1 for approximately 58 kilometers until you reach the town of Musanze. Once in Musanze, take the exit towards the Ndego roundabout and continue on the road for about 7 kilometers until you reach Ruhengeri. Upon entering Ruhengeri, look for directional signs to the location FHQP+MPM. The journey will take around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic.

  • Public Transportation (Bus)

    To travel by bus from Gitarama to Rwanda Gorilla Safari, head to the main bus station in Gitarama. Look for a bus heading to Musanze or Ruhengeri. The buses usually depart every hour and the fare is approximately 1500 RWF. The journey takes about 2 hours. Once you arrive at the Musanze bus station, you can either take a motorcycle taxi (moto) or a taxi to reach FHQP+MPM, which is about a 10-minute ride.
