Car
From Gitarama, head east on the RN1 road towards Kigali. The journey is approximately 30 kilometers and takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on traffic. As you approach Kigali, follow the signs for Amahoro National Stadium. Once you reach the city, continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenue de la Révolution. Turn left onto Avenue de la Révolution, and then take the first right onto Avenue du Stade. Amahoro National Stadium will be on your left. Make sure to check for parking options nearby.
Public Transportation (Bus)
From Gitarama, you can take a bus to Kigali. Head to the Gitarama bus station and board any bus heading to Kigali. The fare is generally around 500 RWF. Once you arrive at the Nyabugogo bus terminal in Kigali, you can take a moto-taxi (motorcycle taxi) or a local taxi to Amahoro National Stadium. The moto-taxi will cost around 1,000 RWF to 1,500 RWF, and the local taxi will be around 2,000 RWF.
Motorcycle Taxi (Moto)
If you prefer a quicker and more flexible option while in Gitarama, you can hire a motorcycle taxi (moto) to take you directly to Amahoro National Stadium. Negotiate the fare before starting the journey, which should typically range between 7,000 RWF to 10,000 RWF. The driver will take you along the main roads to Kigali and drop you off at the stadium entrance.
