Car
From Gitarama, head north on the RN1 road towards Ruhengeri. The journey is approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic conditions. Once you reach Ruhengeri, continue straight until you reach the intersection near the main market. Take a left turn onto Avenue de la Paix, and follow the road for about 5 minutes. Look for the signs directing you to Gorilla Guardians, which is located at HGCP+4HP, Ruhengeri. Parking is available on site. Make sure to carry some cash for any entry fees or services.
Public Transportation
To travel by public transportation, head to the Gitarama bus station and look for a 'Musanze' or 'Ruhengeri' bound bus. The fare is approximately RWF 1000-1500 and the journey takes about 2-3 hours.
