Getting there

Walking

From the center of Gisenyi, head towards Avenue de la Révolution. Walk along this street for about 15 minutes until you reach the intersection with Avenue du Lac. Turn left onto Avenue du Lac and continue walking for approximately 20 minutes. You will pass several local shops and cafes along the way, which can be a good opportunity to grab some refreshments. As you approach the lake, keep an eye out for signs indicating the direction to Les Chutes de Ndaba.

Bicycle

Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Gisenyi. Start at the central market and ride down Avenue de la Révolution. After about 10 minutes, take a right onto Avenue du Lac. Continue cycling for around 20 minutes along the lakeshore road, enjoying the scenic views. Make sure to follow any signs pointing towards Les Chutes de Ndaba as you near the destination.

Local Transport

Look for a moto-taxi (motorcycle taxi) in Gisenyi. Agree on a fare before starting your journey. Tell the driver you want to go to Les Chutes de Ndaba.
