If you are driving from Gitarama, head west on the main road (RN 10) towards Karaba. After approximately 15 km, look for signs directing you towards Gikongoro. Continue on this road for another 10 km. You will reach the Murambi Genocide Memorial Centre on your left, located on an unnamed road just off the main route. Ensure to park in the designated parking area.
Public Transportation (Bus)
To reach the Murambi Genocide Memorial Centre via public transportation, locate the bus station in Gitarama. Take a bus heading towards Karaba or Gikongoro. The bus ride will take approximately 30 to 40 minutes. Inform the driver that you wish to stop at Murambi Genocide Memorial Centre.
