Car
From Gitarama, head northeast on Avenue du Commerce towards Rue de la Paix. Continue on Avenue du Commerce for about 3 km until you reach the junction with the Nyanza road. Turn left onto the Nyanza road (also known as the RN 1). Drive straight for about 20 km. Keep an eye out for the signs to Nyanza Genocide Memorial as you approach Nyanza. The memorial is located at X3XV+42J, Kigali, which is just off the main road. Look for parking areas near the memorial.

From Gitarama, take a moto taxi to the Nyabugogo bus terminal. The fare should be around 1,000 RWF. At Nyabugogo, find a bus heading to Nyanza, which should cost approximately 500 RWF.
