If you are driving from Gitarama, start by heading northeast on the main road (RN1) towards Kigali. After approximately 45 minutes, follow the signs to Kigali. Once you enter Kigali, continue straight until you reach the intersection at Remera. Take a left onto KK 106 St. Continue on KK 106 St for about 10 minutes, and the Rwanda Art Museum will be on your right. Parking is available near the museum, but be sure to check for any parking fees.
Public Transportation
To reach the Rwanda Art Museum from Gitarama using public transport, take a bus from Gitarama bus station heading to Kigali. The bus ride should take about 1 hour. Upon arriving at Kigali bus station, exit and look for a moto-taxi (motorcycle taxi) or a taxi to take you to the museum. Provide the driver with the address: KK 106 St. The moto-taxi ride will take around 15 minutes, and you can expect to pay approximately 1,500 RWF for the trip.
