If you are in central Karongi, start by heading towards the lakefront area. You can follow Avenue de la Republique until you reach the lakeside. Once you are at the lake, continue walking along the promenade towards Kibuye. It's about a 30-minute walk along the beautiful lake views. Make sure to look for signs that guide you towards Kibuye as you approach.

You can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Karongi. Once you have your bike, follow Avenue de la Republique towards the lake, then cycle along the lakeside pathway heading towards Kibuye. The ride will take approximately 15 minutes, and you will enjoy the scenic views of Lake Kivu along the way.

If you prefer a quicker option, you can take a motorcycle taxi, known as a 'moto'. Head to one of the moto taxi stands in Karongi, typically near the market.
