Walking
If you are in central Karongi, head towards the main road (RN3). From the town center, walk east on Avenue de la République until you reach the intersection with RN3. Turn left onto RN3 and continue straight. Keep walking for about 4 km. You will pass by local shops and the scenic views of Lake Kivu on your right. The Campaign Against Genocide Museum will be on your left side, just before you reach the area known as Juru.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Karongi. Start by cycling towards Avenue de la République and take a left onto RN3. Continue cycling for approximately 4 km. Enjoy the beautiful surroundings as you ride along the lakeside. Look for the Campaign Against Genocide Museum on your left as you approach Juru.
Public Transport (Bus or Moto-taxi)
Find a local bus station in Karongi. You can take a bus heading towards Kigali and ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to the Campaign Against Genocide Museum, which is along RN3.
