Walking
Start your journey at the Muhanga town center. Head south on Avenue de la Révolution. After about 500 meters, you will reach the junction with Avenue de l'Indépendance. Turn left onto Avenue de l'Indépendance and walk for approximately 1 kilometer until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit to stay on Avenue de l'Indépendance. Continue walking for another 1.5 kilometers until you see the signpost for Nyabisindu on your right.

Once you turn onto the road leading to Nyabisindu, continue straight for about 1 kilometer. You will see local shops and homes along the way. Keep an eye out for directional signs that mention Shyunda Mountain. After passing a few houses, the road will incline slightly as you approach the base of the mountain.

As you get closer to the mountain, the path will become more rugged and start winding upwards. Follow the path for about 500 meters, and you will reach the entrance to Shyunda Mountain. The entrance is marked by a small gate, where you may need to pay a nominal fee for access. Enjoy your hike up the mountain!
