If you are driving, start from the nearest main road to the Nyabarongo River area. Head towards Muhanga Town using the main road (RN1) which connects to the southern regions of Rwanda. Once you reach Muhanga, follow the signs for Muhanga Dam, which is the local name for Kucyinamba-Muhanga. The dam is located approximately 5 km from the town center. Keep an eye out for local signage indicating 'Muhanga Dam' as you approach. The drive should take around 15-20 minutes depending on traffic.

Public Transportation
To reach Kucyinamba-Muhanga by public transport, take a bus or a shared taxi from Kigali to Muhanga. The buses to Muhanga leave from the Nyabugogo Bus Station in Kigali.
