Walking
From the center of Nyamata, start by heading northwest on the main road. You will walk past the Nyamata Church Memorial; ensure to take a moment to appreciate the historical significance. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction where the road splits. Here, you will see a sign for Kigali. Turn left at this junction and follow the road for another 2 kilometers until you reach the outskirts of Kigali. At this point, look for KG 563 St on your right.

If you have access to a bicycle, you can ride from Nyamata to Inema Arts Centre. Start at the Nyamata market area and head northwest on the main road. You’ll pass by the Nyamata Genocide Memorial; it’s a good spot for a break. Continue for about 2 kilometers until you reach the junction. Turn left towards Kigali and follow the road for approximately 3 kilometers. Keep an eye out for KG 563 St, which will be on your right. Inema Arts Centre is located on this street.
