If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Rubavu. Start from the main square and head towards Avenue du Lac. Keep cycling along the lakeside path which is scenic and well-maintained. After about 1 kilometer, you will reach the intersection with Avenue de la Paix.
