If you are starting from the town center of Rubavu, head towards the main road, Avenue du Lac. Walk along this road towards the north until you reach the intersection with Avenue de la Paix. Turn left onto Avenue de la Paix and continue walking straight for about 10 minutes. You will pass by local shops and cafes. After approximately 1 kilometer, look for signs directing you towards the bus station. Once at the bus station, you can take a local bus heading to Kigali. Inform the driver to drop you off at KK 18 Avenue in Kigali, where Ndabikunze Heritage is located.

From Rubavu town center, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops. Start by cycling towards Avenue du Lac and continue north. After about 1.5 kilometers, turn left onto Avenue de la Paix. Keep pedaling straight for another kilometer until you reach the bus station where local buses to Kigali operate. At the bus station, catch a bus heading to Kigali and ask the driver to drop you off at KK 18 Avenue. Ndabikunze Heritage is just a short walk from the bus drop-off point.
