Walking
Start from the center of Ruhengeri, at the main market (Gisenyi Road). Head east on Gisenyi Road until you reach the intersection with Avenue du 1er Novembre. Turn left onto Avenue du 1er Novembre and walk for about 1 kilometer. You will come across a roundabout; continue straight through the roundabout, following the signs to Cyuve. After approximately 2 kilometers, you will reach a small footpath on your right leading towards the forested area. Follow this path for about 1.5 kilometers until you hear the sound of the waterfall. Continue along the path, and it will lead you directly to Cyuve Waterfall.

Bicycle
From the center of Ruhengeri, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops. Start by heading east on Gisenyi Road for about 1 kilometer. At the intersection with Avenue du 1er Novembre, turn left. Continue straight for about 2 kilometers until you reach the roundabout. Go straight through the roundabout, following the signs for Cyuve. After about 1 kilometer, look for a small path on your right that leads into the forest. Cycle along this path for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach Cyuve Waterfall.

Motorbike Taxi (moto)
From your location in Ruhengeri, find a nearby motorbike taxi (moto) stand. Inform the driver that you want to go to Cyuve Waterfall. The driver will take you along Gisenyi Road, turning left onto Avenue du 1er Novembre. The ride should take about 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. They will drop you off at the footpath leading to the waterfall. From there, follow the path for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the waterfall.
