Getting There

Walking
Starting from the center of Ruhengeri, head northeast on Avenue de la Réunification. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Avenue de l’Indépendance. Follow this road for approximately 1 kilometer, passing by local shops and cafes. You will see the sign for Musanze Mukungwa River on your left. Turn left onto a smaller path leading toward the riverbank. Continue walking along this path for about 300 meters, and you will arrive at HIKE OF RWANDA HISTORICAL ADVENTURES, located right by the river.

Public Transport (Moto-taxi)
From any point in Ruhengeri, find a moto-taxi (motorcycle taxi) and tell the driver you want to go to Musanze Mukungwa River. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. The driver will take you to the riverbank area, where HIKE OF RWANDA HISTORICAL ADVENTURES is located. Make sure to confirm the drop-off point is near the river.
