From the center of Ruhengeri, head south on Avenue de la Paix. Walk straight until you reach the junction where the road forks. Take the left fork onto Avenue du 1er Novembre and continue walking until you reach the bus station. This journey should take approximately 15-20 minutes.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Ruhengeri. From the bike rental location, head south on Avenue de la Paix. Continue on this road until you reach the bus station. Turn left onto Avenue du 1er Novembre. After about 15 minutes of cycling, you'll reach the bus station where you can arrange transport to the base of Mount Sabyinyo.

Public Transport (Moto-taxi)
From the center of Ruhengeri, locate a moto-taxi (motorcycle taxi) stand. Negotiate a fare with the driver to take you to the base of Mount Sabyinyo. The ride should take approximately 30 minutes, and the drivers are familiar with the location, so you can simply tell them you want to go to Mount Sabyinyo.

Hiking
If you are an adventurous hiker, you can start from Ruhengeri on foot. Follow Avenue de la Paix heading south, and then take the left fork onto Avenue du 1er Novembre towards the bus station. From there, you can follow local trails leading to Mount Sabyinyo, but ensure you have a local guide for safety and navigation.
