Walking
From the center of Ruhengeri, head south on Avenue de la Révolution towards Avenue du Commerce. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the junction with Route Nationale 4. From there, turn right onto Route Nationale 4 and walk for approximately 2 kilometers. You will pass several local shops and cafes along the way. After 2 kilometers, look for a sign indicating Colline Gakoro on your left. Turn left and follow the road up the hill, which may be steep. Continue walking for about 1 kilometer, and you will reach the Umusozi 360° Viewpoint. Enjoy the panoramic views!

Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Ruhengeri. Start from the center of town and cycle south on Avenue de la Révolution, then turn right onto Route Nationale 4. Cycle for about 2 kilometers, then take the left turn towards Colline Gakoro. The road will incline as you approach the viewpoint. It’s a beautiful ride through local scenery, and you will reach Umusozi 360° Viewpoint in about 15-20 minutes from the turn-off.

Find a motorbike taxi (known locally as a 'moto') in the center of Ruhengeri. Inform the driver that you want to go to Umusozi 360° Viewpoint, located on Colline Gakoro. The ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes. The driver will navigate through the streets and take you directly to the viewpoint. Make sure to wear a helmet for safety.
