Walking
Starting from the center of Ruhengeri, head towards the main roundabout at Place de l'Unite. From the roundabout, take the road that leads to the east, following signs towards Kigali. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the junction with the RN3 road. At this junction, turn left onto RN3. You will walk along this road for approximately 3 kilometers. Keep an eye out for local landmarks like the Ruhengeri Market on your right as you walk. As you approach the outskirts of Ruhengeri, the Campaign Against Genocide Museum will be on your left. Look for the entrance with clear signage indicating the museum.

If you have access to a bicycle, start at the center of Ruhengeri and cycle towards the main roundabout at Place de l'Unite. From there, take the road heading east, and continue straight for about 1 kilometer to the junction with the RN3 road. Turn left onto RN3 and cycle for about 3 kilometers. You will pass by local shops and the Ruhengeri Market on your right. The Campaign Against Genocide Museum will be on your left as you approach the outskirts of the town. Make sure to check the museum's opening hours before you go.
