Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Ruhengeri, head west on Avenue de la Révolution until you reach the intersection with Avenue de l'Indépendance. Turn left onto Avenue de l'Indépendance and continue for about 500 meters until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Route Nationale 4 (RN4) heading towards Musanze. Continue along RN4 for approximately 2 kilometers until you reach the sign for Kandt House Museum on your right. The museum is located at the end of KN 90 St.

    Starting from the main market in Ruhengeri, rent a bicycle and head north on Avenue de la Révolution. Turn left onto Avenue de l'Indépendance and cycle straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Route Nationale 4 (RN4). Continue cycling for about 2 kilometers, and watch for the Kandt House Museum sign on your right. Follow the signs to the museum located at the end of KN 90 St.
