From the central area of Ruhengeri, start at the Ruhengeri Bus Station. Head east on Avenue de la Paix for approximately 600 meters until you reach the intersection with Avenue du Commerce. Turn left onto Avenue du Commerce and continue walking for about 400 meters. When you reach the main roundabout, take the second exit onto Avenue de l'Indépendance. Walk straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route Nationale 4 (RN4). At this junction, you can ask a local for directions to Kibagabaga Genocide Memorial, as it is located about 2 kilometers from this point, near Kigali. Alternatively, you can take a moto-taxi from this junction directly to the memorial.
