If you are driving from the center of Saint George, head southeast on Beach Road. Continue for approximately 1.5 km until you reach the intersection with the main road (Main Street). Turn right onto Main Street and continue for about 400 meters. Look for the signs directing you towards Fort Matthew on your left. There is a small parking area near the fort.

Public Transportation
To reach Fort Matthew via public transportation, take a minibus from the main bus terminal in Saint George. Look for buses heading to 'Fort Matthew' or 'Upper St. George'. The fare is usually around EC$2-3. Ask the driver to let you know when to get off. The minibus will drop you off near the entrance of the fort. From there, it’s a short walk up to the fort itself.
