Walking
If you are in the central area of Mecca, head towards the Al Haram area. Look for signs directing to Masjid al-Haram. Walk along Al Masjid Al Haram Road, which is a major thoroughfare leading directly to the mosque. You should be able to see the mosque’s towering minarets from a distance. Continue walking straight; the entrance to Masjid al-Haram will be at the end of the road.
Public Transport (Bus)
Locate the nearest bus stop to your current location. Many buses operate routes that go directly to Masjid al-Haram. Look for buses labeled 'Masjid al-Haram' or 'Al Haram'. Board the bus, and stay on until the last stop, which is right outside the mosque. Once you get off, follow the crowd as most visitors will be headed towards the entrance.
Taxi or Ride-Hailing Service
If you prefer a more private option, you can use a local taxi or a ride-hailing service like Uber or Careem. Simply request a ride to 'Masjid al-Haram' or 'Al Haram'. The driver will take you directly to the mosque entrance. Ensure you have the name written in Arabic (المسجد الحرام) to show to the driver in case of language barriers.
