From Kédougou, head south on the N7 highway towards the town of Saraya. Continue on this road for approximately 70 km until you reach the village of Koussanar. At Koussanar, take a left onto a smaller road that leads to the Niokolo-Koba National Park entrance. The park entrance is about 15 km from Koussanar. Please note that you may need to pay an entrance fee at the park gate, which can vary depending on your nationality and whether you are bringing a vehicle.

In Kédougou, find the local transport station and take a sept-place (shared taxi) heading towards Saraya. The journey will take about 1.5 to 2 hours.
