If you are in the center of Thiès, start at the Place de l’Indépendance. Head south on Rue de la République for about 300 meters until you reach the intersection with Rue du 3 Mars. Turn left onto Rue du 3 Mars and continue straight for about 500 meters. You will find local shops and cafes along the way which can provide a nice break. Keep an eye out for local signage as you navigate. Once you reach the end of Rue du 3 Mars, turn right onto Avenue du Général de Gaulle and walk for about 200 meters until you reach the Thiès Railway Station.
