Getting There

    If you are driving from Ada Ciganlija, start by heading east on Banjica Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Autoput 75. Merge onto Autoput 75 heading towards Belgrade. After approximately 6 kilometers, take the exit for 'Stari Grad'. Follow the signs towards the city center. Once you reach Knez Mihailova Street, continue straight until you see the Kalemegdan Park entrance. Despot's Gate is located within the Kalemegdan Fortress, which is easily accessible from here. Note that parking may be limited near the fortress, so plan to park in nearby public parking areas, which may incur a small fee.

    To reach Despot's Gate using public transportation, start by taking bus line 32 or 83 from Ada Ciganlija to the 'Trg Republike' stop in the city center. Once you arrive, transfer to tram line 2 or 6 towards 'Kalemegdan'. Get off at the 'Kalemegdan' stop. From there, you will find signs directing you to the entrance of the Kalemegdan Fortress, where Despot's Gate is located.
