Walking
If you are in the heart of Stari Grad, start by heading towards the main entrance of Niš Fortress, which is located on the corner of Obrenovićeva and Đuke Dinić streets. From the entrance, walk straight ahead along the pathway that leads inside the fortress. Continue walking until you reach the central courtyard of the fortress. Византијска улица will be accessible from here; look for directional signs pointing towards archaeological sites. Follow the signs until you reach the designated area of Византијска улица.

Public Transport
While it is possible to walk to Византијска улица, if you prefer to use public transport, you can take a local bus from the nearest bus stop, which is located on the main road outside the fortress. Look for Bus Line 1, which travels through Stari Grad. You will need to pay a small fee of approximately 100 RSD (Serbian dinars) for a one-way ticket. Ride the bus until you reach the 'Tvrđava' stop, which is the nearest stop to the fortress. After getting off, walk towards the fortress entrance and follow the walking instructions provided above.
