Getting There

Walking
From the center of Freetown, head towards the Sierra Leone National Museum located on Charlotte Street. Once you reach the museum, continue along Charlotte Street until you reach the junction with Siaka Stevens Street. Turn left onto Siaka Stevens Street and walk straight until you reach the intersection with Pultney Street. Turn right onto Pultney Street and continue walking until you reach the waterfront. From there, you can follow the coastal path to Dockyard Drive, which will lead you directly to Nelson's Dockyard.

If you have access to a bicycle, start from the central market area in Freetown. Head towards the Lumley Beach Road, cycling along the coast for scenic views. Once you reach the Lumley Beach area, continue along the beach road until you see signs for Dockyard Drive. Follow the signs to Nelson's Dockyard, which is located at the end of Dockyard Drive.
