From the center of Freetown, head towards the main road leading to the east, passing the Cotton Tree landmark. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Campbell Street. Turn left on Campbell Street and keep walking until you see the bus station. From there, follow the signs pointing towards St. John's. As you walk, you will pass local shops and eateries. Keep walking for about 30 minutes until you see a sign for Fort James. The landmark is located at 44JP+4G5, St John's.

Start at the central bus station in Freetown. Look for a bus heading towards St. John's. Buses are typically labeled with their final destination. Once you board, inform the bus conductor that you are going to Fort James. The ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to the entrance of Fort James. From there, it is a short walk to the landmark.
