If you are driving from central Freetown, head east on Lumley Beach Road. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Wilkinson Road. Turn left onto Wilkinson Road and follow it until you reach the junction with the Freetown-Waterloo Highway (A1). Turn right onto the Freetown-Waterloo Highway and continue driving until you see the signs for Jui. The Freetown Sierra Leone Temple is located at 9VP6+W92 Hastings, just off the highway. Look for the temple's distinctive architecture on the left side of the road.

To reach the Freetown Sierra Leone Temple using public transport, start by taking a shared taxi or mini-bus from central Freetown to the Waterloo area. You can find these vehicles at various taxi stands around the city. Make sure to look for a taxi heading towards Waterloo, as there are many routes. Once in Waterloo, ask the driver to drop you off near the Hastings area. From there, you can either walk or take a motorcycle taxi (okada) to the temple, which is located on the Freetown-Waterloo Highway. Be sure to confirm the fare beforehand, which should be around 2,000-5,000 Leones depending on the distance.
