From Changi, head north on the ECP (East Coast Parkway) towards the city. Continue on ECP, then merge onto the AYE (Ayer Rajah Expressway) heading for Tuas. Follow signs for the Second Link Expressway (E22) towards Malaysia. Once you cross the causeway, you will be on the North-South Expressway (E2). Follow the E2 and take the exit for Route 3 towards Johor Bahru. Continue on Route 3 and take the exit for Jalan Desaru (Route 92). Follow the signs that lead you to Desaru. The total journey should take around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic conditions. Note that you may need to pay tolls at various points.

Public Transportation
Traveling by public transportation, you will first need to take a taxi or Grab (a popular ride-hailing app) from Changi to the Queen Street Bus Terminal in Singapore. This ride should take around 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Once at Queen Street Bus Terminal, purchase a ticket for a bus heading to Larkin Sentral in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. The bus journey takes approximately 1 hour. After arriving at Larkin Sentral, you will need to take another bus (Bus No. 1 or 10) to Desaru. The bus ride from Larkin to Desaru will take around 1 hour and 30 minutes. Be sure to check the bus schedules ahead of time for convenience.
