    If you are driving from Changi, start by heading towards the ECP (East Coast Parkway) and exit onto the PIE (Pan Island Expressway). Continue on the PIE and follow signs for the AYE (Ayer Rajah Expressway) towards Tuas. Once you reach the Tuas Checkpoint, you will cross over into Malaysia. After clearing customs, continue on the E3 (North-South Expressway) and take the exit towards Kota Tinggi. Follow the highway signs towards Kota Tinggi, and then follow local signs to Pantai Desaru. The journey will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic. Be aware that there may be a toll charge at the checkpoints and on the expressways. Ensure you have Malaysian Ringgit for any tolls along the way.

Note that you need to check for buses that go directly to Kota Tinggi. Once in Kota Tinggi, you can take a local taxi or ride-sharing service to Pantai Desaru.
